The program also offers its affiliate commission as a direct bank deposit or an Amazon gift certificate (which many will find just as convenient as cash). However, Amazon’s Associate Program offers a commission of between 1-10%, depending on the product, which is on the lower end of the spectrum. Affiliates will need to generate a significant amount of sales to see success in this program. There are also some basic requirements: Amazon requires interested affiliates to have at least 10 recent posts (for websites), and only accepts the top social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch.tv). Even once accepted, affiliates must make at least three sales within the first 180 days to be able to stay in the program.
