Once you authorize the connection, Referral Rock can initiate outbound PayPal payments on your behalf whenever an advocate earns a reward. No Zapier or third-party middleware is required for the payout integration.

You define the trigger in your Referral Rock program settings. Common triggers include a referred customer completing a purchase, activating a subscription, filling out a form, or reaching any other conversion event you track. When that event is confirmed, Referral Rock automatically queues the PayPal payout to the qualifying advocate.

Yes. Sending rewards via PayPal requires a PayPal Business account on your end. Your advocates (reward recipients) can receive funds with a standard personal or business PayPal account. They just need an account associated with the email address you have on file for them.

Once a reward is triggered, Referral Rock sends the payment directly to the advocate's PayPal account using their email address. PayPal notifies them immediately. The funds are available in their PayPal balance right away. They can spend online, send to friends, or transfer to their bank account.

Yes, recipients need a PayPal account to receive funds. If an advocate doesn't have one, PayPal will prompt them to create a free account to claim their payment. This is a PayPal platform requirement. Referral Rock cannot bypass it.
