The \u201cXerox Copy\u201d aka\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jamesclear.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/copy-machine-study-ellen-langer.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Copy Machine study<\/a>\u00a0conducted by Harvard psychologist Ellen Langer looked at what would happen if someone was asked to cut in line at a busy Xerox store.
